Wind Energy Transmission Texas, LLC (WETT) invites you to attend a Public Open House. WETT is proposing to construct three new 345 kilovolt (kV) electric transmission line projects, as part of the Competitive Renewable Energy Zones (CREZ) Program directed by the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUC) to increase the transmission capacity necessary to deliver renewable energy. The three transmission projects are:

Long Draw to Sand Bluff 345 kV Transmission Line is approximately 54 miles of a single-circuit, double-circuit capable transmission line located in Borden, Howard, Mitchell, Glasscock, and Sterling counties. It will connect the WETT Long Draw Switching Station in Borden County to the WETT Sand Bluff Switching Station in Glasscock County.

Sand Bluff to Divide 345 kV Transmission Line is approximately 30 miles of a single-circuit, double-circuit capable transmission line located in Glasscock, Sterling, and Coke counties. It will connect the WETT Sand Bluff Switching Station in Glasscock County to the Oncor Divide Switching Station in Coke County.

Sand Bluff to Bearkat 345 kV Transmission Line is approximately 22 miles of a single-circuit, double-circuit capable transmission line located in Sterling and Glasscock counties. It will connect the WETT Sand Bluff Switching Station in Glasscock County to the WETT Bearkat Switching Station in Glasscock County.

In addition to these three projects, WETT will also have information available for three other transmission projects that were introduced at previous open houses in December 2009. Maps that depict the proposed alternative route segments associated with these projects located in Scurry, Mitchell, Howard, Borden, Dawson, Martin, Midland, and Ector counties will be available for review.
